All Plantation Bay's blinds are manufactured locally from high quality components and fabrics. A wide range of both Australian and imported fabrics are on offer with a selection of blind styles, which include:
Roller blinds are amongst the most popular window covering choices due to their ease of use and clean look.
Twin roller blinds have the added feature of a second translucent or sunscreen blind in addition to a regular block out blind. This gives the advantage of privacy in the day and UV protection whilst still being able to take in the views. Plantation Bay Shutters' premium range of roller blinds use top quality Quantum hardware with the main tubes constructed from heavy gauge aluminum. Chain controls are stainless steel with a smooth and light clutch operation. Bottom rails on the fabric are of ergonomic sleek design making them less prone to catching on door handles or window locks when adjusting heights.
Roman blinds are extremely effective at blocking out light, especially when fitted on the face of the wall and covering either side of the window reveal edges. They are also a good insulating blind when made from thicker fabrics.
Vertical blinds can be a good choice where there are sliding doors as they can be pulled across on their sliding tracks, allowing easy door access. Verticals have the option of 89mm or 127mm wide fabrics.
Panel glides (Glissades) have similar advantages to verticals, only they have wider flat fabric panels that stack back with the aid of a control wand, sliding across the face of the window in multiple sections.
Slimline venetians are a lightweight low profile window covering solution.
Plantation Bay's timber and PVC venetians are locally made premium products, with louvre widths of 50mm and 63mm. The headbox fascias are a wide 84mm with timber control toggles and heavy gauge cord. There is a range of colour and stain choices available.
